Oh, how I love Calendula! Between its vibrant yellow to orange color, its sweet and gentle taste, and its endless versatility, it is one of nature’s greatest gifts! Historically enjoyed as a soothing herbal tea, Calendula is celebrated for its ability to support overall digestive wellness* and deliver natural antioxidants that promote a radiant, healthy glow from the inside out.* Used for centuries by traditional herbalists, these beautiful blossoms offer a deeply comforting ritual for your daily wellness routine. Calendula is another herb featured in my cup almost daily!
Flavor Profile: Smooth, clean and soothing, Calendula starts off with an earthy, comforting note, followed by a floral taste that is subtly sweet, with a peppery undertone. If brewed for too long, Calendula tea can be bitter, so make sure to set a timer!
Brew Instructions: Add 1 tsp - 1 Tbsp of tea into your infuser depending on your taste. Pour 12 ounces boiling water over the infuser for a stronger cup, 16 ounces boiling water for a lighter cup. Allow to steep 3-5 minutes. Add honey and milk to taste, or enjoy as is!
Ingredients: Whole Calendula Flowers

Safety Notes: While Calendula is widely celebrated as a gentle, soothing, and deeply comforting traditional herb, it interacts uniquely with everyone's body. Please review these standard notes before enjoying:
- Botanical Family Allergies: Calendula belongs to the Asteraceae (daisy) family. If you have known sensitivities to ragweed, daisies, marigolds, chrysanthemums, or sunflowers, we recommend enjoying with caution or starting with a very small amount.
- Pregnancy & Nursing: Because calendula is a traditional botanical that can inherently stimulate normal cyclical body systems, internal use is not recommended during pregnancy. If nursing, we suggest checking with your lactation consultant or pediatrician to see if it fits your current routine.
- Routine Changes & Surgery: As a natural food, calendula is best enjoyed as part of a balanced daily routine. If you are preparing for any scheduled medical procedures, or are taking regular medications, it is always a best practice to temporarily pause new herbal foods.
- Consult Your Care Team: Everyone's body interacts with botanicals uniquely. We recommend consulting with a qualified healthcare practitioner before introducing new herbal products into your lifestyle if you have specific wellness concerns.
