A full, yet light bodied herb, Egyptian Chamomile is a calming caress to the body and soul. This variety is German Chamomile grown in Egypt, which boasts the perfect growing conditions for this herb. Egyptian Chamomile is considered the highest quality chamomile, with its sweet and strong scent, and robust taste. Chamomile is a powerhouse herb, known to bring digestive comfort, relaxation to the body, and ease to the mind.* While I appreciate all herbs for their individual practical and wondrous uses, Egyptian chamomile is by far my favorite. And it’s caffeine free!

Flavor Profile: Smooth, wholesome, sweet and floral, with notes of apple. Egyptian Chamomile tea exhibits subtle earthy, woody undertones, without bitterness.

Ingredients: Whole Egyptian Chamomile Flowers

Brew Instructions: Add 1 tsp - 1 Tbsp of tea into your infuser depending on your taste. Pour 12 ounces boiling water over the infuser for a stronger cup, 16 ounces boiling water for a lighter cup. Allow to steep 3-5 minutes. For a cold brew, steep 1/2 cup chamomile flowers in a half gallon of cold, filtered water for 12 - 16 hours in the fridge before straining. Add sugar or honey to taste, or enjoy as is!

Size Options: Tea is available in both Steam and Spice Glass Jars, and refill pouches. Both options come with the same amount of tea; 2 - 45 servings depending on how strong you make your cup! Glass jars are dishwasher safe; wooden lids hand wash only.

Net Weight: 0.97 oz (27.7 g)

Safety Notes: While Egyptian Chamomile is celebrated as a gentle, comforting, and deeply soothing traditional herb, it interacts uniquely with everyone's body. Please review these standard notes before enjoying:

  • Botanical Family Allergies: Chamomile belongs to the Asteraceae (daisy) plant family. If you have known sensitivities to ragweed, daisies, marigolds, chrysanthemums, or sunflowers, we recommend enjoying with caution or avoiding use if your allergies are severe.
  • Pregnancy & Nursing: Because chamomile is a traditional botanical that can inherently relax body systems, internal use is not recommended during pregnancy or while nursing. We suggest checking with your care team to see if it fits your current routine.
  • Routine Changes: As a natural food, chamomile is best enjoyed as part of a balanced daily routine. If you are taking regular daily prescription medications or navigating specific health regimens, it is always a best practice to check with your healthcare provider before introducing new herbal foods.
